Ryan Petersen
Director
Ryan joined Pathlight in 2013. Ryan is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with a Master’s degree in Taxation from the University of Denver and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from the University of Idaho.
Prior to joining Pathlight, Ryan worked for ten years at EKS&H (now Plante Moran). During this time, Ryan served clients in a range of industries and ultimately became a leader within the real estate group. There he developed expertise in commercial and residential real estate. Ryan has assisted clients in tiered structures, complex operating agreements and allocations, real estate deals, and organizational restructuring.
After joining Pathlight, Ryan serves a wide client base, but has developed an expertise in the following practice areas:
· Estate taxation, including tax issues surrounding litigation of the estate assets or conservatorship of individuals.
· Ryan is also a Registered Investment Advisor and consults on investment advisory, family wealth transfer, and retirement plans.
· Succession planning for retiring business owners, including consulting on the sale to a 3rd party or management buyout.
· International tax compliance.
· Divorce tax issues.
Jeremy Reiss
Director
Jeremy’s experience includes nearly 10 years of assisting a wide variety of businesses — from large, multinational corporations, to local, closely held businesses and their owners. Having founded his own company, Jeremy brings a unique perspective and entrepreneurial spirit to Pathlight.
Jeremy’s biggest passion is serving real estate clients and start-ups, and navigating the complexities of partnership taxation. He has served on the board of directors for clients and has assisted them with entity selection and formation, structuring complex partnership agreements, real estate transactions, and succession planning.
Ming Lam
Senior Tax Manager
Ming has over 25 years of public accounting experience and has been serving clients at the firm for over 20 years. She is fiercely dedicated to her clients and has expertise in very technical areas such as international tax structures, research and developments credits, and large C corporation issues.
Ming is a graduate of the University of Colorado Denver with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She has been a certified public accountant since 1996. Originally from Hong Kong, Ming moved to the United States in 1992.
Mohamed Djamouh
Tax Advisor
Mohamed graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting where he is currently pursuing a Master of Professional Accountancy degree with an emphasis in Taxation, and he is also working toward obtaining the enrolled agent certification. Mohamed is a dedicated professional who has over 7 years’ experience working in accounting including 2 years in public accounting. He joined Pathlight Tax and Consulting in 2022 as a Tax Advisor who specializes in tax preparation and compliance for individuals and small businesses. When away from work, Mohamed spends most of his time with his wife and three kids enjoying what kids enjoy doing. He also loves to play soccer and outdoor recreational activities.

Annette has been with Pathlight since 1999. She handles all of the billing functions of the firm along with being our receptionist.
